Bitch'en or bliss'en?

In the Attic was brilliant yesterday. Pete sang “Behind blue eyes”, and it sounded soooo incredible. I got shivers. He is great! And that song is one of my absolute favourites.

I have uncovered evidence today which shows that my mum was right on one thing whilst I was growing up. The nasty and embarrassing truth is that I was the biggest muddler there ever was. I could never keep my room tidy for longer than a couple of hours. It was revolting at times; just look at the state of my room on this picture. Jaysis! How was I able to sleep in that bed? And the amount of bottles of "Tab x-tra" is scary. Tab is a bit like coca cola, only better... :-)
This must be from the times when I hardly drank any water at all. I think the only water by poor body got was when I brushed my teeth. I am glad I'm not like that now. But since I don't like coffee or tea, Tab becomes my "coffee", but only in the evenings.

It is merely because I honestly and wholly detest the art of cleaning and tidying. And dusting… come one… you wipe down the TV, and two seconds later it is all dusty again. What the feck is the point? It’s all just terribly ungrateful. Nobody ever notices if you clean, but if you don’t, everybody sees. Unfair and annoying. But I am proud to say that I do my best, and I try hard to keep my flat somewhat tidy and clean. I few bits and pieces will always lie around, because that is just me. Simple as that. At least my mum hasn’t delivered a written complain to me, so I guess I’m doing fine. *lol*

While visiting my friend Hege yesterday she wrote an SMS to my ex. I then got the news that my ex, and her new love, are looking for a place to live together. Such a rush… But then my ex is known for fast speeding when it comes to relationships. I wish them all the best. But it is a bit sad too… My singleness somehow appears so much BIGGER when I hear about her new life. In comparison, I am fat, boring, single, unattractive and insanely in love with a fabulous man who I can never have. Yes, life is good you guys! Let us all join in on the celebration of the fabulous life of Miss Monsoon. Her life is over-filled with exciting happenings, parties, gatherings, love, sex, dancing, care, and much much more. It is so not full of computers, maths, Spanish, boring TV-programs and unattainable love. I am of course exaggerating big time, but then again I love overdoing things!! And I am not as sad a case as it sounds, I am just kinda messing with myself... But it all boils down to the truth of a single line in Alanis Morissette’s song “Ironic”. “It’s meeting the man of my dreams, and then meeting his beautiful wife…” Yupp, there it is, right there! Life’s bitchen with me…

I found this picture too, and I found it funny. It is of me, under all the hair and viking helmet, and Ciara. Ciara found it appropriate to wear her swimsuit on the top of her head. I remember we were roaring laughing, which we did a lot. Good times!

This is of me and Cathal in my bedroom in Ireland. He was going on 2 here. I used to call him my "cutieboy", which he actually allowed me to call him until he was 12 .

I have to get some dinner now. I have been to school doing maths for 7 hours today. God I'm good! *lol*

Monsoon - off to eat something which I swear is something boring..., like sausage...

Update : Yes, sausage it was. *giggle* Nothing more interesting in my freezer.

My Irish mam and Bono.

Cool. Got this picture in my e-mail today, from Cíara. (one of the kids I minded during my two years with this family) It is a of her mam, Thérèse, and of course Bono. Thérèse got to meet him because she is the first secretary of the prime minister. She met Nelson Mandela too... That must have been amazing, and interesting.

Meanwhile... Bob was so fucking gorgeous today. Oh fecking shite! Me want... *lol* He had gotten a bit tanned, cause he had been in the south of Europe during easter. Lucky him. He is so funny and so sexy... Oh, have I mentioned that before maybe?!? Shut up Eilen!

I have this neighbour who is an old lady. She has a gigantic house lot, and within that an equally enormous garden. For some reason it is a necessity for her to mow the lawn every day. I am sure it is just to spite us. Every Saturday I wake up to that really annoying sound. My bedroom window faces her garden you see. What is up with that? Is she trying to design her own golf course over there or what? It isn't vital to mow every day. Twice a week should suffice, and I learnt that from a show on BBC called "So you want to be a gardener?". The snow has barely vanished before she starts her cutting. When I came home today she was at it. I wanted to scream to her; "For God's sake, the grass is still brown", but I didn't. Instead I smiled and said hi. She is a little bit weird. We call her the "window tattooing", beacuse she practically lives on the windowsill, like a fucking ornament or something. Are we a tad curious? I guess she has nothing better to do, so I feel a bit sorry for her at the same time. But she has visitors quite often, so I hope she isn't lonely.

This is me on a Sunday trip down to Bray that Rønnaug and I took. It is south of Dublin in county Wicklow. If you get off the train/dart two stops before Bray, you end up in Killiney, which is where Bono lives. It is stunning down there, and the train/dart trip itself is fantastic!

I love this picture, even though it is of myself.

I am off to a friend of mine.

Until next time, behave yourselves. Not.

Pictures, that I am not satisfied with....

I am not really used to a digital camera, so I can't say that I am very pleased with these pictures. But... Especially the last one annoys me. I should of course have shown more of the sea, but as I was lying on the grass it seemed like I was. I better start taking some more, you know to get better.

Nothing great in the world has been accomplished without passion.

What to say, what to do...?

Take me away, far away where no one can find my thoughts, or force me to be something I am not. Where all there is; is me, nothing more nothing less to be found. Dancing, running on the grass with a long white dress, and shawl flying in the wind. I am joyful and laughing, but tears are running because it is all bittersweet. My hair blowing in the wind, I twirl around and around with my hands lifted towards the sky, I sing aloud, I am alive.

Dance with me my love; dance this last waltz with me, around the whole world listening to my song eternally. Take me to the sea and let me watch the waves in awe. Adore me, write me a poem, bring me flowers, make love to me, let me live, let me love, laugh and grow, let me fly, let me learn, and I will do everything for you, because the dance taught me so.

Play me a musical piece with your violin, accompanied by opera, and see me cry. Not for sadness, but over bliss and bewildered admiration. Watch me dash around the house with hectic rosy cheeks, being chased by a ghost from the past, leaving me alone when I sit down to rest. Let me listen to music and be totally taken by it, entirely absorbed by the drums, the beat, the emotions and power of every tone that strikes. Make me flow.

Listen to my insignificant thoughts and ideas, as if they were essential. Let me play, and be me; in all my silliness, in my charms, and laughs, in my seriousness, my sorrow, my irate, my dreams, my escapes into music, in my inadequacy, my sexuality, in my care, my intelligence, my passion, in my conscientiousness, in my set ways, and in my open spirited ways, yes; let me be me, in all the ways there are.

Hellu... It is soon 2 in the afternoon, and yet I am not dressed nor have brushed my hair. I look like shite! *giggle*, but I can't help loving days like these; staying up inprobably late and sleeping for as long as I want to the next day. (in my case that means until my back kicks me out of bed, because it is suffering from a bedsore... *lol*) There is something magical about the dark night. Especially if there is a full moon. I am drawn to it... Such a serenity. I think I will take a drive to the sea today. I love the sea. But I am scared stiff of it as well. It is so powerful, and that has me in awe. It takes me 1-2 minutes to drive down. I can see the sea from my kitchen window. Thought I would take some pictures. It is lovely, I love living here.

I miss him so much. Aaarggghhh!!! Furiously in love. Why was I to fall for him, why? Especially when I fell so hard. I ask God this every day, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet, with a reply.

I am also irate at myself for being such a complex woman. Why couldn't I have been simple? Life would be so much more effortless than now...

Well... I might write more later on. I am now going to fix myself and drive out to take some pics.
But first a quote:

History is the version of past events that people have decided to agree upon.

Victory, a stunning ship

Look a this beautiful ship here. Amazing! It is docked in Portsmouth in the UK.

It was first launched on May 7th 1765

HMS Victory is the only remaining 18th century ship of the line anywhere in the world. She remains the oldest serving warship still to be in commission

HMS Victory appears today in the form in which she fought her most famous battle, the Battle of Trafalgar (21st October 1805) at which Admiral Lord Nelson was shot by a French marine from the fighting top of the Redoutable.

HAPPY 31st BIRTHDAY TO IRENE!!! She is on her honeymoon...

I am bizarre I am

Since the first time I saw Roy Marsden as "Adam Dalgliesh" in a screen version of a P.D James novel, I have been fascinated by him. Then came David Jason as Mr. Frost in the series “A touch of Frost”. He got me too. And then it happenend again... This time is was Michael Kitchen as "DCS Christopher Foyle" in "Foyle’s War". I am a British crime fanatic yes I am...

What is it with me and men within law enforcement on TV? Especially if they are dressed conventionally and boring, and are kinda old. Good God! I don’t even get myself on this one. Is it their serious looking faces at all times, that has me intrigued? Is it their cunning and smart ways with crime? Is it their lack of female partners in the series? Don’t have a clue. I just know that I find these three a bit more interesting than everybody else on the tube… *giggle*. Well, come to think of it, I think I know some things as to why they interest me. It is the way they seem confident, secure and a little bit arrogant. They have this coolness about them. They seem almost unapproachable if you know what I mean. It makes one want to get under their skin to see who is there… Bollix, I am one silly woman. I laugh at myself, utterly!

This Easter I have been spending an awful lot of time in front of the computer. In addition, I have watched a program on Discovery every day, which interests me big time. It is called “Wreck detectives”, and it’s about people that try to solve old mysteries with sunken ships. Fascinating. Ships from 1600-1700-1800 in particular. They had some insanely extraordinary ships back then. The beauty of some of them, seriously… Wow, stunning. I remember I saw one similar program on “Titianic” once. However, I can’t watch anything that has to do with that ship. I go into this almost scary emotional state that is unreal on every level. I shake, I am freezing, and I get an incredible feeling of sorrow inside of me that makes me cry non-stop. Don’t know why, but I can hardly talk or think about Titianic without this efftect. Remember the first time this reactions came, my girlfriend was so shocked, and didn’t really know what to do. She had never seen me like that before. Peculiar, yes indeed, I am bizarre.

I have done nothing of what I had set my mind to do this Easter break. Instead I listened to my body, and so I have relaxed. Read great literature, listened to music that touches my soul, and spent time with good friends. My flat has gotten its “big spring clean”, which was sorely needed. *lol*. Moreover, I have been writing a great deal. I have so many thoughts and stuff that seems to put pressure on my brain, wanting to get out. But, I don’t know how it should be written, or what. Frustrating big time. I just know I have tons of ideas, and it is freaking me out that I can’t seem to sort them out.

Needless to say he has been on my mind at all times. Bob never leaves... Trying very hard to reconcile myself with the horrible truth. Am I successful at it? Not so much, yet.

Meanwhile, I am looking forward to tomorrow. More British crime. Hercule Poirot. Love it. How do the Bristish do it? They have this God given gift when it comes to intelligent, gripping and "good old-fashioned" crime. So much better than these new crime series where everything has to be sooo technical, and the filming and pictures are way too fast. Don't like that so much. I am conventional in this I guess...

Listening to Danish fabulous Sebastian, and his brilliant song "Sørøver Jenny".

Hugs, and happy wishes for the ret of your Easter. - Monsoon -

About kissing

Kissing him

Slowly, slowly my fingertips touch him
Stroking, with a gentle light hand, barely touching
I can feel everything, I can see his eyes, and he is lost
Looks away, doesn’t dare to see me
“Tilt your head and close your eyes”, I whisper to him
I lean forward and moan. He quivers
Then I gently lick his lips, he has stopped breathing
I place my lips on his, saying, you have never been
kissed before; never like this
My lips feel the warmth, the truth in him
There is nothing there, only heat
Fingers that slowly run up and down his cheeks,
taking it all in, memorizing eternally how it felt
Then I move away from him, knowing
it will never happen again
This was all it ever will be; a short moment of love

Hello lazy day!

Yes as the title stated; this has been a very lazy day. I did go grocery shopping, and I helped Karin to hang her clothes up to dry when I visited. But yet I didn't manage to hang up my own clothes to dry. Hmmm... Instead I watched "Harry potter and the Goblet of fire" which I bought today. (I shouldn't have done that... Bad girl!) I have to say that this is my second favourite film about Harry. The first film is still my number one. I love a bit of magic. Wish I was able to do magic. Wow! I know one person I would put a spell on, that's for sure. I am certain that most of you now think Bob. But, I have to disappoint you there. *lol* You see I would put a truth spell on a certain someone who can't be trusted at all. A true snake that talks ill of everyone. I detest fake, untrustworthy, unreal, "ill-gossiping" people who are spreaders of untrue rumours. Hate it! Don't they ever think about the consequences of their actions? Probably not. Or they just don't care.

Tomorrow I will have to clean this place. It's not looking all that well at the moment. Yuk! And maybe I should put up some Easter decorations as well, that would be nice, right?

I am listening to Mike Oldfield right now, it's a song called Crisis. Very good. And yes, thank God for fast speed internet. I was downloading songs today. It took 7 minutes to download 4 cds with 28 songs on each. Wow. That was fast. At least to me. I have something called Telenor Adsl, and in that I have 3 Mbit speed. Internet to me is really cool. Great way to stay in contact with friends who live far away. Especially if they too have a web-cam and microphone, like I do. It's almost like being in the same room. No, it's not really. Nothing in cyberspace will ever beat the real thing!! But many people don't like to talk via cameras like that. Why? Do they have to pick their noses, be nude, or do other "inappropriate" things while talking to me? There must be a reason why they prefer normal phones... *lol* My brother is one of them, but he won't tell me why, silly boy! I love talking with a cam, but then again; I love being filmed at all times...
It's just because I am so fucking gorgeous that I expect everybody to worship me for the true Goddess that I am. Yep, that's me in a nutshell.

Life is life, will I ever tire from that song? It's a strange thing... but every bloody time I hear it I just have to clap my hands. It just reminds me of simpler times, back to being a pre-teen, in love with the cutest boy in class, and awaiting the Friday night disco at the sports hall at Vigrestad. I remember those nights. It took us ages to fix ourselves before going out. Sitting there on hard wooden chairs that gave us an "ass itch", drinking coke from a 33 cl glassbottle, with peanuts in it, looking at cool boys. Running back and forth to the toilet at all times, to check out the pastel look, were the clothes all sitting right!?!? Then we sat down wanting desperately to be asked to dance. Lucky for me if no one asked me, I would ask them. Shy? Not so much! I quote my diary from those times. "The first dance I danced with Ernst, second Ernst, third Ernst, fourth Mikal, fifth Mikal, sixth Mikal, then Pål, Odd Arild, Kigen, Kigen, Bjarne, Bjarte, Mikal and more. Oh I never thought Ernst would want to dance with me, I mean he is after all 3 years older than me."

How cute, how innocent it all was. But still exciting and thrilling, to dance to "forelska i læreren" (which means something like: In love with the teacher), Life is life, Heaven is a place on earth, and also "Touch me" by Samantha Fox, who, by the way, was my big idol at the time. What, don't you think it was healthy to have an idol who was a page 3 girl in The Sun"? My HUGE basement room was totally full of posters of Samantha. Think I had 300 posters of her. I am so glad I didn't havanythingng better to spend my money on. *lol* I pretended to be her every day, and my poor best friend Eva had to watch me. How interesting it must have been. desperatelyly wanted dimples like Sam, and kept squeezing my cheeks to try to make some. I sang in front of the mirror every day, wanting to be a star. I was an inventive child, that never sat still. Always on the move, always had "three billion" friends around me, and hardly ever got bored, as I was brilliant at entertaining myself, as I am now.

Ok, I think this is enough for today.

I miss you, yeah the truth is, that I miss you so. From "warning sign" by Coldplay. Bob... Who else is there, but him?

I am saying goodnight with two quotes;

Clarity of mind means clarity of passion, too; this is why a great and clear mind loves ardently and sees distinctly what it loves. - Blaise Pascal (1623 - 1662)

But seduction isn’t making someone do what they don’t want to do. Seduction is enticing someone into doing what they secretly want to do already. - Waiter Rant
