Wedding and love, and divine food.

Attended one of my best and closest friend's wedding yesterday. I had dreaded it for a while. Being fat and going to large "parties" like that makes me insecure and boring. Also I feel that I am not allowed to be there because fat people aren't allowed on the premises. Silly? Perhaps for those of you who have never felt what it is like to be incredibly fat. I am embarrassed by the way I look and all that crap. But yesterday I had really nice-looking clothes which were flattering too. The top had a a very nice v-cut and showed just a tiny bit of cleavage, which was great. I actually felt feminine and fine, and that is a rare thing for me. All my friends told me I looked beautiful, and that was good to hear. (I love my friends!! You are all so fantastic!)

We had an implausible evening. Live music, lots of laughs, some tears, dancing, friends of the bride and groom who sang and played lovely music pieces. The groom plays in a band and they preformed too. The food was divine. First course was melon with cured ham, main course was roast lamb with potatoes in cream (I don't know the english word... in norw: fløtegratinerte) and the dessert; chocolate fondant, which was a tiny orgasm. Everybody who sat around me moaned and sighed like there was no tomorrow, while eating this out of this world cake. Oh my God! I can honestly say that I have never eaten a dessert that slow. I never wanted it to end. A most memorable evening, and different from all other weddings I have been too.
So; congratulations so much Irene and Arne. Hope your honeymoon will be fabulous, and married life as well. Love you!

I greeted them with these words I wrote sometime in March. Sorry folks, it's in Norwegian, but it is about love..

To

sammen…

I hope that I will be able to experince the kind of love that so obviously excists between those two yesterday. It was a joy to see. Trouble is that I think I have found the one who could make me content on all levels, but the tiny thing about him you know, is that he is kinda busy loving someone else. What a drag. What a sorrow. Maybe he has an identical twin who is sinlge? *lol* I hate myself for liking him so much! I have so much love to give him, but I am not allowed. Oh for fucks sake! Aaarghh!

But the wedding had its toll on my unfortunate body. I was on high heels, and though broad high heels, my feet were killing me at the end of the night. This is only my second time, in all my life-time, on high heels. My body probably went into shock! Poor thing! But one has to suffer for beauty, isn't that what they say? And I did... *lol*

Today it's 66 years since Norway was attacked by Germany in World War II. Just had to mention that, because somehow I always think about that on this date. It's difficult to comprehend how horrible was is, and what is does to people. Destructive on all levels in both humans and societies, it's like cancer. Shivers down my spine! Growing up I never tired from listening to my grandparents telling me about their experiences during the war. My grandmother was only 11 as the war started, but my grandfather was 19. Lucky for them this wasn't the worse place to be, not by far!!

I will leave you go now. Gotta eat something.

Flabbergasted, to say the least...

I was lying in bed playing with my cat as the phone rang. I got up and answered. I almost choked when I realized who it was. Another ex-boyfriend. This time it was THE ex, which means the one wtih whom I first had sex with. Yes... It has been 13 years since we talked or saw each other, but yet, we talked for over two hours. It felt like I had seen him two weeks ago, not 13 years. So weird. As it turned out it was a very nice conversation.

He told me so many things he remembered about me. Little things, like how my eyes look when I'm excited, how they disappear when I laugh, my loving personality, as he called it, lots of things I had said at certain times, + lots more... I was honestly truly shocked at all the things he remembered. (much more than I do.) He said that he thinks about me almost on a daily basis, and that it would be nice to meet some time. I don't know, we'll see... I mean he lives in Denmark... but to meet as friends would be ok.

He is going to be 53 this year, and last time I saw him he was 40. *lol*, but what is worse is that I was 19! I have changed so much since then, obviously! He said an awful lot of other nice things, and I do have to share one of them, cause it was incredibly nice for a soul like mine to hear. You know being fat doesn't exactly give you a lot of attention, if you catch my drift. I told him I am really fat, and sent him my picture via e-mail. As he was looking at the pic he said: "Eilen, no matter how big you get, you will always be attractive and sexy, oh look at those eyes"... I have to admit that it was great to hear that, I needed it. Cheered me up, as selfish and shallow as it might sound.

Buuuut, I am still into Bob, of course. Even though it's a dead end, big time! I wish it was Bob who said these things to me... Wouldn't that be just fantastic? Yes. One can dream can't one?

Otherwise I should go to bed now, cause it's late, and I have an early start with maths tomorrow.

I worked out today, just had to mention that as well. :-)

Happy? Sad? Naughty? Good?

Who knows?

My head is killing me. Ah, the pain. I am sure it's because I worked out very hard this morning. Right!? Have had two bloody shitey crappy days. I do hope that tomorrow will be more sunny. You know like inside of me. I actually wrote a blog entry last night, but I had to delete it. I sounded like a maniac, due to the fact that my head was exploding with anger, confusion, sadness, self-hatred, frustration, love, indifference, irate, ambivalent emotions, and a lack of sense in my brain... Didn't delete it altogether, I copied it into my "real" diary, which I keep on my computer in word.

I had done three essays in Spanish, and I got them all back today. Got 5, 6 and 6+ on them. So happy with that. Especially the one I got a 6+ on, cause you don't really get a 6+, since 6 is the highest grade. But the best part of that was that I did it at around 12 last night. So I think I am gonna ask to do my written exam at night. I am obviously much better at writing at nighttime.

I am ill at the moment. I am suffering from a severe case of wantonness. It is truly appalling!
My mind is so dirty, I think I will have to clean it. *lol*
I think about sex constantly. God! Give me a break. It's not all that cool to crave sex when you can't have it. I am tragically and excruciatingly single. Boring boring boring. Sex has become this big bar of chocolate that I can't have... And you know when you can't have it; you want it even more. Soooo much more to be honest. I am annoying the bolllix out of myself! Plus; I have to laugh at myself too. I am one weird woman sometimes. And way too honest too... hehe... I am sure my "illness" is caused by the season; spring. Isn't that the case every spring? Come on you guys, don't lie now. Be honest, can you feel it's in th air? Ooof course you can! *lol* Also; the very sight og Bob doesn't exactly help in the matter either.

"At the frontier of Bob" the situation is as always, and nothing will ever change either. Unfortunately! But he is looking mighty fine, handsome, sexy and attractive as usual.

I know that there was something I was going to write about today, but I can't seem to remember what it was. It'll probably come back to me later on.

But I will tell you this though: I DETEST STUPID SILLY NON-BRAIN reality shows. I am so sick of them. They are sent 24-7, I feel, and I can't stand them. Luckily I can just turn off the T V, so I do... But I think that it is truly terrible that so many people find it interesting to watch a bunch of annoying "pr-horny" people, drink, eat, talk, fart, shower, fuck, make out, and everything else. Why is this interesting? Please tell me. Voyeurism at its worse perhaps?
To me this is the most boring and useless programs ever to have been sent on TV. I can't help it. I know that millions of people find "Big brother", Temptation island, Survivor, The bachelor/bachelorette etc. etc. oh so thrilling, but to me it is nothing short of garbage. How many different bachelor shows have there been? Beauty and the beast, beauty and the geek, midgets as bachelors, gay bachelors, for love or money, the billionaire etc etc. Do we really need more? NO! Please! Give me something worth watching, something interesting on an intelligent level, if you know what I mean. I too can watch "easy" entertainment, but I do prefer programs where I can expand my horizons and learn.

Woohoo!!

Pride and Prejudice is over. The last episode just aired. Bollix! I love it, and I can't believe how fast those 6 weeks have gone by. Wish more series like this one would be sent. Let's hope that some good crime is to be sent during easter.

Have been very good today. Washed the stairs, tidied a bit, have done three essays , plus one document on Salvador Dalí in Spanish, and sent them all on e-mail to my teacher. Also got my ear pierced at 10 this morning. It stings a tad, but that's ok...

We got the assessment of taxes today, and luckily I don't have to pay in more taxes. Instead they owe me. Woo hoo!! Very pleased with that. Not a lot of money I will be getting back, but a little is a lot to me.

The vile smell is almost gone now. Great, I might be able to sleep without waking up all the time because the place stinks. My cat smells a bit though, so I guess she has been at it today. She is the street's slut, eh?! Kidding...

I have a profile at this gay/lesbian/bisexual place on the net, called Gaysir. Don't know why I bother, to be honest. I am so not interested in anyone besides Bob. (unfortunately!) I keep getting messages from this really gorgeous and hot looking girl who lives in Stavanger, but she is 18. Way too young for me, to say the least! hehe... Bob is like 50. . But of course my ex is 6 years younger than me, but I think I do like older persons the best. There is just something about them that attracts me. Friends of mine, and my parents, can't understand what I like about these "old" men. But to me they aren't old, not at all. They are just right, perfect and good. Luckily my parents have settled with the thought of me coming home with a man/woman their age. And why shouldn't they, I mean I have been like that since I was 18, at least...

I have been a bit melancholic today, but it is passing now. The very thought of not seeing him again, the most "perfect human being for me", takes my breath away for sure. A part of me is hugely indenial about the whole thing. But it's just that at this point it's painful to think about it. Can't help it. Undoubtedly, as time goes by, I will forget him. But his being will forever be with me I think. He is too remarkable to just fade away like nothing.

It's past midnight, so I'm off now, to something completely different.

Apparently Barbie can talk

I found this site on the net called "the barbisms". It is a collection of art that examines the concept of the ideal woman and dolls' influence on the genders in society. It's a parody as well, and you can find it here: http://thebarbisms.com/

Look, Barbie can be a bitch!

Oh, the language on that doll!
"F-en" this and F-en that...Wash your mouth dolly.

Just had to share this. I found the site quite funny.

Going mental!

Furious!! Just got home from my mum's "birthday party", and when I came home this vile, sickening, strong disgusting smell greets me at the door. Fucking cat!! I have this annoying male cat that comes to my flat and sprays his lovely fluids just inside the cat door. You know that thing that male cats spray to mark their territory. Oh holy mother of God it reeks. I have no idea what the English word is, but in Norwegian we call it "kattebrunst". I love cats, but this one is really starting to bug me big time. I am sick of having a stinking flat. I try to clean, but to locate the exact spray spot is very difficult. Because somehow I don't find it tempting to crawl around sniffing for a smell that is so vile that my teeth get furry, and my eyes start to sting. So now I am sitting in this odour enjoying the scents of "catly manhood". Do you want to come and visit?

I am tired today. Went to bed late, but that would have been OK if I would be able to sleep longer than 8. Why does my body want to jump out of bed at such an unholy hour? I have no desire what so ever to get up then. What will I do? Watch TV shop on TV3? Yes, as tempting as that is, I prefer to sleep until at least 10. Is that too much to ask for? Was I not designed to stay up late and sleep in? Probably not, but I like staying up until I can't see the letters on my keyboard any more.

I know why I woke up today. I had a bad dream. I was walking in sewer up to my knees, and my cat Shira, was walking and swimming beside me. I couldn't get out of it, and I was anxious about something. Also worried that Shira would drown. Doesn't sound like a bad dream, but it was a dismal atmosphere. Hmm... I hardly ever dream bad dreams. But immediately after waking up I had an urge to cry. Didn't though...

Instead I got up, and sat down in front of my beloved computer to do some Spanish. This is a test that has been given as a real exam previously. I finished it within an hour, and sent it to my teacher. I am practicing myself at speedy writing you see. Need that for my real exam in June.

Have thought a whole lot about Bob over the weekend. And also pondered on why I like him so much. My conclusion was, as always; it is the whole package that he consists of. Nothing more, nothing less. There is just something about him that has made me fall, like I have never fallen before. How can I explain? I can't. He is just everything...

I am now going to eat a sandwich. Mum had made gorgeous looking, and tasting, sandwiches today. I got to bring home some of the left-overs. So I am now going to eat one with shrimps and eggsalad on. Mmmmm...

Talk soon!!

I am "Forrest Gump" when it comes to cardplaying

Eva and I have had fantastic chinese today. It tasted so good. The sweet and sour dish is quite hot and spicy, and it tastes divine. After that we have talked, laughed, and listened to music. Eva tried to explain to me the rules of poker, because I would like to learn how to play it. She usually plays something called "Texas Hold'em", and the tried to teach me this today. I followed for a while, but then too many names and too many cards were involved, and my brain went into it's "Forrest Gump mode". It has a tendency to this every now and then. I am card stupid, no doubt. Why is it so hard for me to understand cardgames? But, a little consolation to me is that nobody that I know, beats me in "Tetris" or "Astropop". I am fucking brilliant when it comes to games where fast reaction is important. I can do solitaire on my computer, but that's not poker... It it very vexing to me. How cool wouldn't it be to play poker with friends? I will give it another try when it isn't 11 at nighttime. It is now almost 1 at night, and it is the second of April, so:

HAPPY 54th BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST MUM/MISLA IN THE WHOLE WORLD!! She is one of the most selfless, strong and caring persons I have ever met. (I call mum Misla. I have called her that for as long as I can remember. )

What else have I done today? Nothing of what I should have done, like tidy and clean my flat. Got my period last night so I wasn't really up for cleaning. I really detest house work! It's most boring thing there is. Rønnaug came by, and then Eva and I got chinese. That's it. God! Embarrassing to see how little it is possible to get out of a Saturday. Must become more efficient! Ok, I did put on the dishwasher. Wow! Who deserves a medal? Housewife of the year, that's me. No, I'm not that bad, just sometimes... *lol*

No, I must go to bed now. Late again. How unusual.

I miss him, long for him, and he is hot.

I love you more

Great evening at Rønnaug's! To watch Rattle and Hum with fantastic sound is almost like being back in 1987, at Sun Devil stadium Arizona when U2 played there. Wow! When Bono sings Bad I get goosebumps, and it feels like I am completely bursting. He is so into it, he lives the song. Fucking amazing! And not to mention when he enters the stage to sing "With or without you". Oh dear God! It's nothing short of incomprehensible. They are incredible, although I liked them better before. Of course I like their recents Cds as well, but they can't compare to the ones before Zooropa. Not to me.

Music, one of life's great pleasures, no doubt!

Van Morrison is playing Stavanger twice this weekend. (Stavanger is where I go to school.) I am not his biggest fan, but he sure has some great songs! Would have been nice to see him, but I can't afford tickets to around £ 59. Why does it have to be so expensive? Bloody annoying. It's been ages since I was at a concert last. The best ones have been the two U2 concerts in 1993 and 1997. But Alanis Morissette and Cranberries were great too. Even Britney Spears was great fun. Not joking you! But my biggest dream is to see The Who, cause I have never seen them live. They are touring this year, but of course nowhere near me. Therefore I can't bleedin afford it. Aarrrghh!!! I destest being "poor". Can't wait to start earning money. I might be able to so some things out of the ordinary...

To be able to travel back in time... My biggest wish would be to get a time machine. Ah! I would go back to the 70's. I have always felt I've lived in the wrong decade. I like men who were young in the 70's, and I love the music from that time. *lol*. But I would go back to a The Doors concert, to the "Isle of Wight festival" in 1978, when The Who played for ages, I would see Jimi Hendrix, I would see Deep Purple, and lots more great stuff. Well actually, in order to see a great The Doors I would probably have to go back to the 60's, since Jim died on July 3rd 1971...

It's 1 am, and I will go to bed.

Write more tomorrow.

Dreamt about Bob last night. Great dream. We kissed, and it felt like heaven, but I was very nervous too... Weird...

Well, good night!
